According to the lady, the same man who once planned a future with her recently contacted her to borrow money, making her reflect deeply on how different her life could have turned out if she had accepted his proposal.
She explained that marrying him back then might have left her struggling financially in Nigeria, unlike the comfortable and fulfilling life she now enjoys in Canada.
"The man I'd have been married for long before I came to Canada called me few months ago to ask me, for me, to borrow him money. Still in Nigeria, broke!. If I'd have married him, a few months ago this year, I'd have been somewhere suffering. Let us thinking" she said.
