Accra Hearts of Oak have officially ended their relationship with head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani after the conclusion of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The decision, announced in an official club statement on Tuesday, follows what management described as a “comprehensive technical review” of the season.
Although Dramani guided the Phobians to a respectable third-place finish, the club’s hierarchy appears determined to reshape the team’s technical direction ahead of the new campaign.
Reports suggest concerns over the team’s style of play and attacking output may have influenced the Board’s final decision.
Official Statement,
Hearts of Oak thanked Dramani and his backroom staff for their professionalism, discipline, and commitment throughout their tenure.
The club acknowledged the work done by the technical team in stabilizing the squad during a demanding season.
Dramani, who joined Hearts of Oak in 2025, arrived with huge expectations due to his impressive coaching résumé, including successful spells with Asante Kotoko and roles within Ghana’s national teams setup.
Despite building one of the league’s strongest defensive units, Hearts struggled for consistency in attack, drawing criticism from sections of supporters during the season.
The club says players and officials are currently on recess, while supporters await an announcement on who will lead the next chapter of the Phobians’ rebuilding project.
Management insists every decision being made is aimed at restoring the club to sustained domestic and continental dominance.
